A blog between Yester Primary in Scotland and Flataskoli Gardabaer, Gardabaer in Iceland where we compare our cultures and what goes on in each school.

Age range:     From 9 to 12

Aims:     1) Find out a bit about each other's cultures and school life. 2)Become more aware of how to use a blog, publish information to the web, use pictures and possibly video. To enrich the pupils' understanding of each of the two countries in the project- to enrich the European Dimension

Expected Results:     Hopefully, the children will gain a wider knowledge of each others' country and culture, and what it is like in each others' schools

Work Process:     Use of blog- http://crossroadsofculturesp6.blogspot.com to allow children to communicate what goes on in certain areas of each school. Comparison of the timetable/ a school week are possible throughout. ICT- learning how to use a blog responsibly.
